Fushimi Inari Taisha

By October 6, 2015Japan, Kyoto

Without doubt, the Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社?) is one of the great sights in all of Japan. The seemingly never-ending corridors of Torii gates that criss cross the mountain never fail to impress. Located in Fushimi-ku, in Southern Kyoto, the trails that are home to the thousands of Torii span over 4 kilometres and take around 2 hours to walk up. An unmissable attraction if you’re in Kyoto.
